The forum was held under the patronage of his excellency Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, who is the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate General Authority.
As he showcased the outcomes in this forum that Saudi Arabia’s strategic vision for real estate sector growth, driven by government policies focused on increasing housing supply, accelerating digital transformation and expanding real estate financing.
The Saudi real estate market achieved record performance with transaction values exceeding SAR 300 billion in 2023, positioning the Kingdom among the top 20 global real estate economies.
Housing support programs, including Sakani and the Real Estate Fund, played a key role in raising homeownership rates from 47% in 2016 to over 66% by the end of 2025, benefiting more than 367,000 new households and with 70% of sales completed off-plan.
Meanwhile, real estate financing grew by 27% to SAR 900 billion by 2025, reinforcing the sector’s contribution to economic growth diversification, investment growth and Vision 2030 objectives.
