Deep Roots in Ottoman History

- Restored by King Abdulaziz in 1932 A.D.
- Served as a Saudi military base and a temporary educational center
In 2012, the site was officially restored and opened to the public.
Fort Design and Architecture
The structure of Adosareyah Castle reflects both its military roots and traditional Arabian design. It features a nearly square layout covering about 900 square meters. Four cylindrical towers anchor each corner, connected by thick defensive walls designed with gun slits and parapets.
The two-story design is centered around a spacious courtyard, with rooms that once served both military and residential functions. Built from stone and plaster, the fort has been carefully preserved. Today, visitors can walk through its strong, historic walls while appreciating its graceful design
Restoration efforts have reinforced its structure while maintaining its original aesthetic.
